Saw Composer Charlie Clouser Surpasses Star Wars’ John Williams in New Milestone

Date:

Composer Charlie Clouser has achieved a milestone with the release of Saw X. He is now the first American composer to score ten movies in the same franchise. This surpasses the legendary composer John Williams, who scored all nine movies in the Star Wars Skywalker Saga. Clouser acknowledges this achievement but does not compare himself to Williams in any other aspect. He has kept track of his progress over the years, wondering if he would ever catch up.

Clouser has observed that his compositions have developed a distinct identity within the films, staying consistent despite changes in the cast, crew, and creative team over the course of the franchise’s history, similar to the enduring presence of Tobin Bell’s character.
