Netflix May Soon Let You Use Your Phone to Dominate Games on Your TV!

Date:

Netflix is expanding its services to potentially include gaming in addition to its current offerings of movie and TV streaming.

Reports from Bloomberg and MacRumors contributor Steve Moser suggest that Netflix may be considering allowing users to play games on their TVs using their phones as controllers, as part of their ongoing efforts to establish a presence in the gaming industry.

There are some lines of code in the Netflix app that indicate people can connect their phones to their TVs or streaming devices to play games. Netflix subscribers have access to over 50 free games, but only on mobile devices. To play, you need to download the game as a separate app and log in using your Netflix information.

One of the mobile games associated with Netflix is Into the Breach, a tactical strategy game that was released in 2018 and has gained popularity. It should be noted that not all tie-in games for Netflix properties are inexpensive.
