Disney+ Has Announced The Renewal of ‘Star Wars: The Bad Batch’ for a Third and Final Season

Date:

Disney+ announced at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 that the animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch will have a Season 3, which will be its final season and air in 2024. The renewal was shared by executive producers Brad Rau, Jennifer Corbett, and Athena Portillo.

The Bad Batch is a show that follows a group of elite clones, known as the Bad Batch, after Order 66 and the rise of the Empire. The second season concluded with the death of Tech and the capture of Omega, revealing that she has a sister.

The Bad Batch panel at Star Wars Celebration featured a Season 3 teaser trailer. The trailer began with the Emperor (voiced by Ian McDiarmid) visiting Dr. Royce Hemlock, the Empire’s cloning leader, on Mount Tantiss. Palpatine emphasizes the importance of the facility’s security. The Bad Batch team is shown, with Hunter discussing Omega’s capture by the Empire. StarWars.com provided this information.

Omega informs Crosshair that she will not be surrendering, as they are both currently in imperial custody.

The teaser included images of Republic commandos, clones, Rex, and Fennec Shand, portrayed by Ming-Na Wen.
