Ghost in the Shell is set in the near future when a wave of cybercrime threatens world peace in the light of the advancement of technology. In order to save humanity from cyborgs, Motoko Kusanagi stands up and takes the charge of public security section 9 to combat the ongoing crime.

Based on the Spriggan manga that was released over twenty years ago, the TV show is the latest screen adaptation of the famous story.

Spriggan Season 1 on Netflix is set in an ancient civilization that once ruled the Earth. However, after a series of unfortunate events that destroyed the kingdom, the people left messages to the future generation detailing all the information about the powerful creations they used. After some factions threaten humanity with the use of these magical artifacts, the ARCAM Corporation and their elite squadron of soldiers known as Spriggans take the charge to prevent evil people from finding those weapons.

Bastard!! -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy (Part 1)

The TV show is based on Kazushi Hagiwara’s dark-fantasy manga and follows the story of The Dark Rebel Army which plans to resurrect the god of destruction Anthrasax. In a world led by Four Divine Kings, Tia Noto Yoko, daughter of the Great Priest, must make a decision to save humanity from the sorcerer-led army.

Kakegurui Twin (Season 1)

The series is a prequel to the main Kakeguiri series and is set one year before Yumeko Jabami enrolls at Hyakkaou Private Academy. The story focuses on Mary Saotome, who after her arrival learns about the school’s gambling system. After her interaction with her schoolmates, she ultimately succumbs to the gambling mania resulting in Ryota Suzui becoming her pet.

The series will revolve around a street kid who tries to survive amidst the technological advancements and body modification-obsessed city set in the near future. Putting everything at stake, the kid chooses to stay alive and ends up becoming an Edgerunner a Mercenary outlaw also known as a Cyberpunk.

Drifting Home is the third movie produced under the banner of Studio Colorido and comes after A Whisker Away and Penguin Highway. Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix (Season 1)

The anime series on Netflix is an adaptation is the Far Cry franchise. It revolves around Dolf Lazerhawk, a cyborg super soldier who is residing in a world of synth-wave dystopia full of corporate control and oppression.

Devil May Cry (Season 1)

Devil May Cry is easily one of the most requested anime adaptations ever. The series is currently in the production phase and will be released in 2023.

Exception (Season 1)

Exception is one of the most anticipated anime series on Netflix. The series is directed by the artist behind Final Fantasy and The Sandman: Dream Hunters illustrator, Yoshitaka Amano.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell (Season 1)

The anime series will star John Wick and is created by Derek Kolstad who is currently developing a Splinter Cell anime series for Netflix.

Tomb Raider (Season 1)

The upcoming anime series will follow the adventures of Lara Croft in the world of the franchise’s 17-game history.

Twilight of the Gods (Season 1)

The series is Netflix’s latest anime based around the mythos of the ancient Norse world. More details are yet to be revealed.
